Many of the top models work with your smartphone. Find an app that lets you save maps, schedules and choose cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos on the market. It uses lidar to navigate, and create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels), and works with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set schedules and customize the behavior of the S1.
When I tested the S1 It was quick to locate our downstairs, which has linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, as well as carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was able to drive close to walls and even over raised thresholds without issue. However it had some issues navigating down the stairs in one pass. The S1 also did a fantastic job cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving smoothly on its flat side against the floor and then lifting itself when it reached carpet or rug.
The docking station on the S1 automatically empties its dust bin and refills its water tank on board with clean, ozonated water before every mopping session. The dock adds a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 cleaning sessions, but this will vary based on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires periodic maintenance to ensure it is operating efficiently. For this, you'll need to clean the dirty water tank occasionally to avoid it from clogging. Also, you'll need to clean the swivel wheel and sensors regularly to keep them from becoming clogged with dirt or dust. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-1 robot mop and vacuum from Ecovacs is a great choice for cleaning needs. The Ecovacs robot vacuum has 8,700Pa of suction and offers many innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning that avoids obstructions and cleans furniture. Its mopping ability is impressive. Rotating mops actually lift the floor and scrub it instead of simply dragging a pad across the surface. The mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station, if needed.
This robot combo has a simple interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand-vacuum which can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot cannot reach. There are also two water tanks that are automatically emptied or refilled. It also has a number of useful settings for fine-tuning your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a good vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction that can effortlessly remove dirt and other debris that other robots have trouble with. Its navigation abilities are also quite good, though it can be stuck on small area mats and rugs at my home (which you can alleviate by defining virtual boundaries in the app). Mopping capabilities are very good and include a pair of mop pads that can lift and scrub the floor instead of dragging the pad across it. The mops can also be cleaned with heated water, and dried in the basestation whenever needed. The mops are also filled at the top of the station if needed.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame launched the luxurious X30 Ultra earlier this year however their latest flagship model of robot mop and vacuum comes with more impressive features. It is a great cleaner, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our list of the top robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush will ensure an effective, customized cleaning is completed.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up large and fine particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest places of our tests with ease, avoiding pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping power of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that automatically extends to get into areas that are difficult to reach and mop pads that run across baseboards.
Its navigation is smart that can navigate tight spaces and negotiating stairs without skipping a beat. It can move from one area to another without changing direction it is a useful feature for homes with many rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is less advanced than that of some competitors and leaves a large margin around obstacles. This could lead to missed spots.
The app's interface is intuitive and streamlined. It should be simple to use by both novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleanings, adjust mopping and suction power settings, view 2D and 3D maps, and much more. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri which allows you to monitor its progress from any location. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You will require a reliable WiFi connection to run the app and external controls.
4. best robot vacuum can do a fantastic job of removing dirt and debris however, it's not able to get every last bit of dust. It is important to clean regularly, once a week. This is especially important for dust that accumulates in corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop designed to accomplish exactly that. It is easy to connect it to your home Wi-Fi network and it works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, such as the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it is cheaper because it doesn't have mopping capabilities and has an aluminum body.
The Q5 is one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping machines we've seen at this price even though it's not able to clean your floor. It has powerful 5500Pa suction and an auto-empty system which means you don't need to manually empty the bin every time. It comes with a smart app that lets you schedule cleaning and determine the floor type. It also comes with an automatic water tank filling and washing system for hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive, with 2700Pa of power to tackle dirt, dust, and pet hair on hard floors and carpets. The Q5 was among the few robots that we tested to not have a problem with high-pile area rugs and carpets. However, it did not pick up kitty-litter or cable tangles. This isn't surprising as it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.

K10 Plus is one of the quietest robovacs we have tested, it also utilizes a unique system to map your home this really helps it get into places that other vacuums can't reach. It also collects dust in a bigger dustbin which means you need empty it less frequently. Furthermore, it comes with washable filters which further reduces the cost of using the device. The robot is able to detect carpets, and boost suction if needed. The app also allows you to mark areas that you want it to avoid, which is a nice feature.
